In the second quarter of 2021, the food delivery app market in Nigeria on the Android platform saw significant activity. Here’s a closer look at the performance of the top five food delivery services during this period.

Jumia Food: Food Delivery from JUMIA experienced a varied trend in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 8.4K downloads in late March and dropping to around 2.7K in mid-April. However, it saw a resurgence towards the end of the quarter, peaking at about 7.1K downloads in mid-June. The app also maintained a robust active user base, fluctuating from around 63K active users at the beginning of the quarter to approximately 55.5K by the end of June.
